Oceans Ate Alaska är ett metalcore-band från Birmingham, bildat 2010. Debuten Lost Isles (2015) satte dem på kartan - Alternative Press tog med dem på sin lista över 100 band att hålla koll på - och sedan dess har de gett ut Hikari (2017) och Disparity (2022), skivor som drivit deras sound i en allt mer progressiv riktning. Sedan tidigt 2024 är bandet oberoende med sångaren Joel Heywood, och ett fjärde album skickades till mixning i juli 2025.

Oceans Ate Alaska played a Japan tour in September 2025, with dates in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

The band parted ways with vocalist James Harrison, guitarist Adam Zytkiewicz and label Fearless Records, and introduced Joel Heywood as their new full-time vocalist alongside the single 'Endless Hollow'.
