Acid Arab is a Paris-based Franco-Algerian collective founded in 2012 by DJs Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, later joined by Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne and keyboard player Kenzy Bourras. The group weaves acid house, techno and trance together with musical traditions from North Africa, the Levant and Anatolia, collaborating with vocalists from Algeria, Syria, Turkey and beyond. Three studio albums - 'Musique de France' (2016), 'Jdid' (2019) and '٣ (Trois)' (2023) - have taken them to stages in over fifty countries across four continents.
Acid Arab signed with the new electronic music label All Night Long and released two singles, 'Nejri' (feat. Baida Baida) and 'Atlas' (feat. Cem Yildiz), pointing toward the group's next creative direction.
In 2024, Acid Arab also collaborated with artists including Yuksek and Fat White Family under the All Night Long Records banner.
Acid Arab released their third studio album '٣ (Trois)' via Crammed Discs, featuring eight guest vocalists from North Africa, Syria and Turkey, and supported it with a headline show at Paris's Olympia.
Acid Arab performed at the Delta Festival in Marseille in August 2025.
Acid Arab is currently on a 2025-2026 tour spanning France, Italy, Poland, the UK and other countries, with dates running through January 2026.
