Åsne Seierstad is a Norwegian author and war correspondent who has reported from Afghanistan, Iraq and Chechnya. Her book One of Us, about the Anders Behring Breivik attacks, became an international success. In her latest book Ufred she writes about Russia from the inside, having stayed in the country when most Western journalists left after the invasion.
