Blastromen is a Finnish electro duo founded in 2003 by Mika Rosenberg and Sami Koskivaara. Their music weaves old-school electrofunk, synthesizer textures and modern techno into a sci-fi-themed sound built around vocoder vocals and intricate production. The duo debuted in 2004 with the 12" EP Robot Aggression on X0X Records and has since released three albums on the German label Dominance Electricity, earning a following across Finland, Germany, the USA and beyond. Live, they are known for custom-built LED light suits and poles that react interactively to the music.
Blastromen released the single 'I Am Power' on 26 December 2025, mastered by Vladan Cvetkovic.
The four-track EP ØEra was released on 3 October 2025 via Dominance Electricity, marking the duo's first new material in seven years since the Cyberia album.
Blastromen announced a new live light system featuring over 9,000 RGB LEDs, currently in development alongside active touring.
Blastromen performed live at the Helsinki Industrial Festival 2024.
A 12" vinyl edition of ØEra was announced for release in early 2026 via the Dominance Electricity label shop.
