Norwegian jazz saxophonist Marius Neset performs with his quartet at G Livelab. The music blends composition and improvisation in a rhythmically energetic jazz experience.
Elliot Galvin (born 1991) is a British pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist based in London, known for blending acoustic jazz with electronics, synthesizers and extended techniques. He leads the Elliot Galvin Trio and is a core member of the Mercury Prize-nominated quartet Dinosaur, alongside trumpeter Laura Jurd. A prolific collaborator, he has worked with Shabaka Hutchings, Emma-Jean Thackray, Marius Neset and others, and has been commissioned by the London Sinfonietta and the Ligeti Quartet.
Galvin released The Ruin on Gearbox Records (digital 7 February, physical 28 February 2025), his first album for the label, featuring Shabaka Hutchings, Ruth Goller, Sebastian Rochford and the Ligeti Quartet.
Galvin toured The Ruin across the UK and Ireland in February-March 2025, with dates in London, Dublin, Oxford and Canterbury.

Galvin wrote and premiered a new ensemble work for the London Sinfonietta as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival's Changing Standards concert.
