Gigi Masin
About
Gigi Masin (born 24 October 1955 in Venice) is an Italian composer, ambient musician and producer whose career spans from the early 1970s to the present. His 1986 debut LP Wind - privately pressed and sold at a handful of small concerts - spent decades as a cult artefact before the 2014 Music from Memory retrospective Talk to the Sea brought it to a global audience. He is also known as a member of the ambient trio Gaussian Curve alongside Jonny Nash and Young Marco, and his track 'Clouds' has been sampled by artists including Björk and Post Malone.
