Unholy Summer Fest
The metal festival Unholy Summer Fest features Turmion Kätilöt, Havukruunu, Ikinä, Sarofin, Deathropy, and Decrowned across two stages in Joensuu.
Havukruunu is a Finnish pagan black metal band from Hausjärvi, Kanta-Häme, active since 2005 (originally as Talvikuu). Singing entirely in Finnish, the band draws on themes of winter, loneliness and pre-Christian mythology, and has built a devoted following across Finland and Europe through four studio albums on Svart Records.
Svart Records reissued the band's 2015 debut album Havulinnaan in a slightly remastered edition on June 6, 2025.
The band's fourth studio album Tavastland was released on February 28, 2025 via Svart Records.
Havukruunu released the single 'Havukruunu ja Talvenvarjo' as the second preview of Tavastland ahead of the album's release.
The band played a Tavastland release tour with dates in Helsinki (Tiivistämö, Feb 28) and Tampere (Olympia Kortteli, May 8).
Havukruunu performed at Tuska Open Air in Helsinki (June 29) and Ilosaarirock in Joensuu (July 18) during the summer festival season.
