Canadian black metal band Spectral Wound performs at Korjaamo Culture Factory in Helsinki.
Spectral Wound is a Canadian black metal band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 2014 and signed to Profound Lore Records. The quintet - vocalist Jonah Campbell, guitarists Patrick and A.A., bassist Sam, and drummer Illusory - draws on Scandinavian second-wave black metal while forging a sound that is distinctly their own: melodic, ferocious, and uncompromising. Their fourth album, Songs of Blood and Mire (2024), built on the critical acclaim of A Diabolic Thirst (2021) and cemented their standing as one of the most vital acts in the contemporary black metal underground.
Spectral Wound played a run of UK and Ireland dates in November 2025, including shows in Limerick, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and London.
The band performed at Hellfest 2025 in Clisson, France, and Resurrection Fest 2025 in Viveiro, Spain, as part of their 'Blood Mire Death - Europe 2025' tour.
Spectral Wound appeared at Inferno Metal Festival 2025 in Oslo and played headline dates in Helsinki and Tampere during their spring 2025 European tour.
The band released their fourth studio album, Songs of Blood and Mire, on August 23, 2024 via Profound Lore Records.
Spectral Wound supported Hulder on the 'Bloodmoon Oath 2024' West Coast US tour, running from Seattle to Oakland through September.
