About

Hurts are a British synth-pop duo from Manchester, formed in 2009 by vocalist Theo Hutchcraft and multi-instrumentalist Adam Anderson. Their debut album 'Happiness' (2010) became the fastest-selling debut of that year in the UK and topped charts across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Finland, eventually selling over two million copies worldwide. Five studio albums followed, from 'Exile' (2013) through to 'Faith' (2020), each marked by the duo's signature blend of cinematic electronics and melancholic pop. Their devoted European fanbase - particularly strong in German-speaking countries and Russia - has kept them a fixture on the continent's festival circuit for over a decade.
