Jaakko Laitinen is a Finnish singer and lyricist, best known as the frontman of Jaakko Laitinen & Väärä Raha, a Lapland-Balkan orchestra active since 2009. The band fuses Balkan rhythms with old Finnish schlager and has won the Emma Award for Best Ethno. Laitinen's lyrics range from love songs to reflections on consciousness and northern Finnish nights.
