Finnish hip-hop legend Loasteeze celebrates his 30th birthday at Tavastia club with East Coast classics Masta Ace and Jeru the Damaja, plus over 10 Finnish artists.
Jeru the Damaja (born Kendrick Jeru Davis, February 14, 1972, Brooklyn, New York) is an American rapper and record producer who rose to prominence in the mid-1990s as part of the Gang Starr Foundation. His 1994 debut album The Sun Rises in the East, produced entirely by DJ Premier, is widely regarded as a cornerstone of East Coast hardcore hip-hop and has been ranked among the 100 greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Known for dense, philosophically charged lyrics and an uncompromising stance toward commercial rap, he has remained an active live performer across Europe and beyond for over three decades.
Jeru the Damaja performed at Paradiso in Amsterdam on June 3, 2025, continuing an active European tour.
A UK leg of shows was announced for late June 2025, including dates in Manchester and London.
Jeru played Glasgow's Classic Grand in May 2025 as part of a tour marking the 30th anniversary of The Sun Rises in the East.
A concert at Dürer Kert in Budapest was logged in April 2025, reflecting continued demand across Central Europe.
Jeru performed at Dock B in Pantin, France in October 2024, one of several European dates that year.
