Juha Flinkman

About

Juha (Roope) Flinkman is a marine biologist, doctor of philosophy and research diver who has worked as development manager at the Finnish Environment Institute and aboard the research vessel Aranda. He is best known for his role in locating the wreck of the Vrouw Maria - a ship that sank in 1771 and was found in 1999. Flinkman has also written several books on Baltic Sea wrecks, including Vrouw Marian viimeinen matka (2014).
