The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore and metalcore band from Gympie, Queensland, formed in 2003. Over nine studio albums they built one of Australia's biggest heavy-music followings, landing five No. 1 records on the ARIA Charts and surpassing one billion streams worldwide. Their ninth album, House of Cards, was released in April 2026 via Pure Noise Records - the first without founding member Ahren Stringer, who was fired in February 2025.
