The Rasmus is a Helsinki-born rock band founded in 1994, whose current lineup is vocalist Lauri Ylönen, bassist Eero Heinonen, guitarist Emppu Suhonen and drummer Aki Hakala. They broke through internationally with the 2003 single "In the Shadows" from the album Dead Letters, which earned six platinum and eight gold certifications worldwide. The band represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with "Jezebel", and in September 2025 released their eleventh studio album, Weirdo, via Better Noise Music.

The Rasmus headlined the Atlas Festival in Kyiv, Ukraine on 19 July 2025, also taking part in a charity initiative raising funds for a children's hospital.
The band returned to the United States and Canada for the first time in 19 years, kicking off the Weirdo Tour in April 2025.
The Rasmus released the single "Creatures of Chaos" on 28 March 2025, the second preview of the Weirdo album.
The Rasmus announced the Weirdo Tour across Europe for September-December 2025, having signed a joint deal with Better Noise Music and Playground Music.
