Tomasz Dąbrowski (b. 1984) is a Polish trumpeter and composer based in Malmö, Sweden, who has spent the better part of two decades shaping the Scandinavian and European jazz scene. Praised by DownBeat Magazine as one of Europe's most versatile players, he draws on free jazz, Eastern European folk and avant-garde music - pushing the trumpet well beyond its conventional role. He leads several ensembles, including The Individual Beings and Ocean Fanfare, and is the youngest member of the historic Globe Unity Orchestra. In 2025 he received two Fryderyk Awards, Poland's highest music honours, for Musician of the Year and Album of the Year.
Dąbrowski performed at the Jazztopad Festival New York 2026, including a world premiere set at Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center with his NYC Quartet featuring Marta Sánchez, Luke Stewart and Kweku Sumbry.
Ocean Fanfare released 'Third Nature' on June 12, 2026 - the final instalment of their long-form Nature Trilogy on Barefoot Records.
