About

Verikalpa is a folk/troll metal band from Oulu, northern Finland, active since 2006 and known for pairing heavy riffs with accordion-driven folk melodies sung in the Oulu dialect. The band - whose name translates as 'Blood Sword' - has released four full-length albums on Scarlet Records, the latest being Tuomio (2024), and built a reputation for high-energy live shows across Finland and Europe.
