Mikro-Kosmos
Yö Galleria, Helsinki
ilmainen
Mikro-Kosmos is part of Kosmos Festival, Finland's own psychedelic gathering that brings electronic music enthusiasts from around the world to the edge of the northern forest.
Yö Galleria transforms into an enchanted forest as the visual artists of Kosmos Festival bring the festival's spirit into Helsinki's urban space. Mikro-Kosmos is a rare opportunity to see a broad spectrum of psychedelic and surrealist rave art collected in a single exhibition.
Built as an immersive spatial experience, the exhibition combines painting, sculpture, and ceramics alongside festival decorations. A shared vision runs through the works: the spirit of the northern forest interpreted through an urban dweller's perspective. The viewer does not merely observe the artworks but steps into the reality they create.
The thirteen artists represent the living field of visual art within Finnish alternative culture, where visionary aesthetics and psychedelic imagery have found their own strong voice.
