Anja Snellman: Turva (art exhibition)

Anja Snellman's exhibition explores the theme of refuge. The artist approaches the subject through her experiences in nature: painting is an intuitive process for her, where experienced nature transforms into an inner landscape. She works with egg tempera, whose organic quality and softness feel natural to her.

The cyclical character of nature and the changing seasons have long been present in Snellman's art. She graduated from Taidekoulu Maa in 1995 and has since worked with painting, land and environmental art, as well as textile art.

The exhibition is open during the library's regular hours.
