Job Search Support Workshops: Job Application Workshop

This workshop covers how a job application differs from a CV, why writing one matters, why a single application is rarely enough, how applications are structured, and how different purposes call for different types of applications.

Before attending, find a job vacancy that interests you and bring the advertisement with you - you will write an application for it during the session. Also bring your email login details (username and password), especially if you plan to use a loaned computer. Computers are available to borrow for the duration of the workshop, or you can bring your own device.

To participate, you must register in advance via the application form and be a resident of Helsinki. Participants need sufficient language skills to communicate with the instructor and other participants without an interpreter or assistant, and basic digital skills to use a computer independently.
