Rosita Luu (trio) - indiespa

Rosita Luu (Merita Berg) is an artist who has released four albums, with music that draws freely from influences across different styles. Strong lyrics and versatility as a songwriter are her hallmarks - her writing explores humanity, mistakes, and deep emotions without black-and-white thinking.

The album Samettisuu (2021) was nominated for the Emma Gala in two categories and ranked third on Soundi magazine's list of the year's best Finnish albums. That same year, Rosita Luu was selected for YleX's breakthrough list. Her latest album Yöeläin was featured in 2024's album roundups by Yleisradio music editor Susanna Vainola and in Soundi magazine, and in January 2025 it was nominated for Indie Awards 2025 as IndieCo ry's album of the year.

On the Espas stage she performs in trio formation: Merita Berg, Meri Wallenius, and Tiia Schwartz.

The concert is part of the indiespa series, which showcases Finnish indie music on the Espas stage over three evenings featuring six different bands. The July and August shows start at 17:00 and 18:00 - free admission!
