Drawing Workshop at Alvar Aalto's Atelier

A drawing workshop organized by the Alvar Aalto Foundation meets at Alvar Aalto's atelier on several Saturdays in June-September 2026 (4.7., 11.7., 18.7., 1.8., 8.8., 15.8., 22.8., 29.8., and 5.9.) from 12:00 to 13:30. The event is conducted in English.

The workshop begins with a guided tour exploring the design philosophy of Alvar, Aino, and Elissa Aalto, their relationship with materials, and their sketches. This is followed by a drawing session: you can design your own design classic or sketch the surrounding space and its details. No prior experience is necessary.

The house provides tools, but you may bring your own drawing materials. Ink and charcoal should be left at home to protect the atelier's light-colored surfaces.
