Torisitsit

Torisitsit takes place at Tampere's Central Square (Keskustori) on 8.8.2026 from 16:00 to 20:00. The event is organized by Tampere University Student Union (TREY) and Tampere University of Applied Sciences Student Union (Tamko). Tickets cost 8 €, and general ticket sales begin on 8.6. at 12:00.

Students from Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences from all campuses are welcome - from first-year students to alumni. The ticket includes a seat at the dining table, a programme, and a badge for the student overall. Further information about the event will be sent by email to registered participants later, and details about continuation will be updated separately.

The seating area is divided into sectors named after Tampere's neighbourhoods. When choosing a ticket type, note that those wishing to sit at the same table must select the same sector - seating is not arranged in advance, but participants in each sector fill the seats themselves. Sector choice cannot be changed later, and sectors cannot be switched during the event. The sectors are: Särkänniemi (alumni sector), Kaukajärvi / Farlake (international sector), Rauhaniemi (quieter sector at the edge of the area), Amuri, Herwanta, Kauppi, Pispala, Kaleva, Nekala, Tahmela and Iidesranta. Any sector can be chosen regardless of background.

Participation with a wheelchair is possible - indicate this when purchasing your ticket. For accessibility-related special arrangements, such as accessible toilets, you can notify the organizers in advance through the ticket purchase form.
