The Hidasta elämää Festival takes place in Ruovesi on 12-14 June 2026 in the setting of Vinhan kirjakauppa bookshop and its garden. This is the community's third festival.

Tickets and prices
Early Bird ticket sales run from 16 November to 31 December 2025: 3-day combination ticket 53.50 €. From the start of 2026, prices increase: 3-day combination ticket 64.50 €, single day ticket (Fri/Sat/Sun) 32.50 €. All tickets are exchanged for wristbands at the festival entrance or at Vinhan kirjakauppa from 12 June at 10:00. Assistants enter free.

Programme

Friday 12 June: 18:00 festival opening, 18:15 Leri Leskinen and Pequ Nieminen: Herkkien miesten vuoro, 19:15 interview: Samuli Edelmann (interviewer Sanna Wikström), 20:00 evening concert with Samuli Edelmann - also featuring Venla Edelmann and conductor Leri Leskinen on stage.

Saturday 13 June: 10:00-10:45 Sanna Wikström: Lempeä herättely, invigorating stretching and mindfulness (bring your own mat or blanket), 11:00-11:45 Eevi Vuoristo & Jarkko Kailanto: Minun käyttöohjeeni (lecture), 12:00-12:30 Katri Kilpiäinen: Tunnollisen suorittajan kapina (interview).

Accessibility
The festival area is partly grassy and sandy. Access to Ylinen, where part of the programme takes place, is via an uneven and steep barn path. An accessible toilet is located inside the bookshop.
