Ed Byrne

Internationally renowned Irish stand-up comedian Ed Byrne performs at On the Rocks in Helsinki. Byrne is known for his sharp observational style, self-irony, and ability to blend humor with the absurdity of everyday life and social themes.

Byrne has been a prominent figure in British television for over 30 years, appearing and hosting numerous programmes. His television appearances include guest spots or hosting roles on shows such as QI, Mock The Week, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, The Graham Norton Show, and Have I Got News For You. He has also hosted the comedy programme Live at the Apollo and participated in charity episodes of television shows such as Comic Relief Bake Off.

Byrne has also appeared as a contestant on BBC One's Celebrity Best Home Cook and in various British versions of game shows, where he has notably won special episodes of The Chase and Pointless.
