Founded in 1972, Tabula Rasa is one of the pioneering names in Finnish progressive rock. The band built its sound following in the footsteps of Cream, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, and Wigwam, with their most famous song being the single Rakastatko vielä kun ilta, which marked the end of their original run. Two albums were released before the band disbanded.

The idea of a reunion took shape at a memorial concert for guitarist Heikki Silvennoinen in May 2025. Silvennoinen was one of the band's founding members, as were bassist Tapio Suominen and drummer Asko Pakkanen, who are part of the current line-up. The stage will also feature vocalist Jukka Salmela - who was the band's singer in the original formation - his daughter, singer Anna-Greta Salmela, keyboardist Jorma Kahilainen, flautist-organist Markus Pajakkala, and guitarist Kemmo Silvennoinen.

Kirjaslammen tanssilava is located between Mallasvesi and Kirjaslammi, close to the centre of Valkeakoski. Tickets at the door 35 €, if available.
