Joska Josafat presents his new music with his seven-member band. His first solo album Valkeat kaupungit was released in 2023, and four more albums have followed over the past four years. The latest release Ilon yrtit showcases folk music elements alongside synth-pop through the band's familiar sound. Known as the second vocalist of Jätkäjätkät, Joska Josafat plays jazz, soul, folk music, rock, hip hop, schlager, and film music.
Band members: Tomi Saikkonen - drums, Antti Kivimäki - double bass, Juha Kuoppala - Hammond organ and synthesizer, Risto Kumpulainen - Rhodes piano and synthesizer, Valtteri Bruun - guitar, Tomi Nikku - trumpet, Erno Haukkala - trombone, Joska Josafat - vocals and guitar.
Tavastia's ground floor is accessible. There is a small threshold at the entrance with an accessible ramp, and the venue has an accessible toilet. An assistant can enter with the assisted person's regular ticket - an EU disability card can be presented upon request. Cloakroom costs 4 € per person; outerwear and large bags must be left in the cloakroom for security reasons.
Before the concert, you can eat or have a drink at Restaurant Ilves. Beverages can also be ordered in advance through Tavastia's website.
