At Lappeenranta Festival Week on 30 July 2026, legendary Ismo Alanko performs alongside Tinyhawk & Bizzarro at Lappeenranta Fortress.

ISMO ALANKO became known to Finnish audiences in 1980 as the singer of Hassisen Kone. Since then, he has boldly and fearlessly renewed Finnish music and reached the pinnacle of Finnish rock. Beyond Hassisen Kone, he has been the singer and frontman of groups including Sielun Veljiet and Ismo Alanko Säätiö, and has worked as a solo artist. He launched his solo career in the 1990s and has released seven studio albums during that time. Over his more than 40-year career, Ismo Alanko has sold nearly 700,000 records, won numerous Emma awards, and sold out tours and concerts in every decade of his career. He has created a unique career in Finnish music as an uncompromising artist, continuously creating new work and winning audiences' hearts. The musician is known for his insightful lyrics that have resonated with Finns throughout his entire 40-year career.
