Ismo Kullervo Alanko (born 12 November 1960) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who first broke through with the new wave band Hassisen Kone in 1980 and later fronted the post-punk outfit Sielun Veljet. His solo career, launched in 1990, has produced nine studio albums and earned him four Emma awards, eight platinum records and the Juha Vainio lyricist prize - making him one of the most decorated figures in Finnish rock.
Alanko announced the 'Kevyt ja kohtuuton kesä 2026' summer tour covering over 20 venues across Finland from June to September, marking 50 years since his first festival gig at Ilosaarirock in 1976.
Alanko released his ninth solo album Kevyt ja kohtuuton on 13 February 2026, recorded live in the studio with his band El Mosquito.
