Ismo Kullervo Alanko (born 12 November 1960) is a Finnish singer-songwriter who first broke through with the new wave band Hassisen Kone in 1980 and later fronted the post-punk outfit Sielun Veljet. His solo career, launched in 1990, has produced nine studio albums and earned him four Emma awards, eight platinum records and the Juha Vainio lyricist prize - making him one of the most decorated figures in Finnish rock.
