Topmost became Finland's most popular band in 1966-67 and made its name known throughout the Nordic region. Swedish newspaper Expressen wrote in 1966: "Nothing so fantastic has been heard since the Beatles." Over 60 years have passed since the band was founded, and it still performs with four original members: Harri Saksala, Kisu Jernström, Holle Holopainen and Eero Lupari. In March 2025, founder and vocalist GUGI Kokljuschkin passed away due to a rapidly progressing illness. Topmost has decided to continue with an updated lineup, with Mikko Rintanen on keyboards - a musician known from Remu, Hector, Kirka and Wigwam, among others.
Tavastia's ground floor is accessible. There is a small threshold at the entrance with an accessible ramp, and the venue has an accessible toilet. An assistant can enter with the assisted person's regular ticket - upon request, an EU disability card is presented. More information about accessibility is available on Tavastia's website.
Cloakroom costs 4 euros per person. Outerwear and large bags must be left in the cloakroom for security reasons. The service fee on the ticket is Ticket's service fee for ticket sales, not a cloakroom fee.
Drinks can be ordered in advance through Tavastia's website and collected at the pickup point until the main artist's performance begins - after that, uncollected drinks are moved to the hall bar. Drink sales end 2 hours before the doors open. Purchases are final; if the concert is postponed or cancelled, Tavastia will contact customers who purchased drinks.
Tavastia has zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, discrimination, violence and abuse of power. Every visitor is expected to commit to the principles of a safer space.
Before the concert, you can eat or have a drink at Restaurant Ilves.
