Tuure Kilpeläinen and Knucklebone Oscar have developed a unique soul and blues special. The twin-cylinder turbo show "Tough Ass Soul Brothers" is a diamond rooted in classic American musical tradition. No bullshit, no nonsense, only rock'n'roll. You won't find this anywhere else! The duo entertains with rock'n'roll attitude, trading vocal duties, tearing it up and burning with energy. The setlist features the swingiest hits and sharpest tunes, but not the obvious choices. Knucklebone Oscar's stylish five-piece orchestra thunders in the background like a hardened punishment in Chicago's Cook County Jail or Sörka prison in 1971.

The Soul Brothers' collaboration began in spring 2024 with a shared single, resulting in a hot, distorted version of the 1970s soul hit "(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right". The partnership deepened further last spring when the guys took over shows for their mentor, the late Eero Raittinen. Live, it has found its own voice - an old-school expression with wild urban sounds, yet powerfully traditional, not a carbon-copy. This is a show you have to experience!

Accessibility
Tavastia's ground floor is accessible. There is a small threshold at the entrance with an accessible ramp. The venue has an accessible restroom. Read more about accessibility on Tavastia's website! An assistant does not need a separate ticket and can enter with the assisted person using the same regular ticket. Please present an EU disability card if requested.

Entry Service
Entry service costs 4 € per person. Coats and large bags must be left in the cloakroom for security reasons. Note that the service fee mentioned on the ticket refers to Ticket's ticket sales service fee, not the entry service on site.
