Canadian indie-electronic artist Austra performs at Tiivistämö on 5 August 2026.

Producer and songwriter Katie Stelmanisin, performing as Austra, has released five acclaimed albums and toured clubs and concert halls for fifteen years. The last time Austra's dreamy and experimental pop was heard in Finland was in 2017.

Austra's latest album "Chin up buttercup" moves toward a more club-oriented and danceable sound. The album references Madonna's "Ray of Light" (1998) among other influences. Beyond her own shows, Austra is touring this summer with Moby.
