Hellsinki Metal Festival Kick Off: Warmoon Lord, Gloomy Grim - Tribute to Agathon, Malformed

The Hellsinki Metal Festival Kick Off club night launches the festival in Bar Loose's basement on 6.8.2026. The evening features black metal, death metal, and a memorial concert for Agathon. A door service charge of 3.50 € applies, and tickets cost 22 € at the door - if any remain.

WARMOON LORD has been playing epic and cold black metal since 2019.

GLOOMY GRIM - TRIBUTE TO AGATHON is a memorial concert for Gloomy Grim's frontman Agathon (Juha Hintikka / Ykä), who died of cancer in 2022. Hellhouse Records 666, in collaboration with Satanath Records, is releasing a memorial album featuring bands such as Barathrum, IGIGI, Unnamed Grave, Walhalla, and Soulgrind covering Gloomy Grim. New songs are performed by Thy Serpent and Micko Hellin St.Petrov - whose track is a collaboration with Agathon that remained in demo form. The concert will feature members from the last two Gloomy Grim line-ups along with several guests. Agathon was also known from the bands Airdash, Soulgrind, Thy Serpent, and Corporal Punishment.

MALFORMED returns to Bar Loose after a two-year break with death metal.
