16.00 | Liisa Matveinen & Tellu Turkka: "Ei sanat salahan jouva!" - 30th Anniversary Tour

Master folk singer Liisa Matveinen and composer Tellu Turkka celebrate 30 years of creative partnership by gathering the best moments from decades: the most moving stories, the strongest songs, and the funniest anecdotes from their tours.

For many years, the duo has explored and composed old runes from female rune singers, including Mateli Kuivalatar and Iro Sissottar. Liisa and Tellu both compose original music and arrange traditional rune melodies - accompanied by kantele, Swedish moraharpa, and clay udu drums. The anniversary tour also features two singers from the Suden aika quartet, Katariina Airas and Karoliina Kantelinen. The tour is produced by Minsku Tammela.

Liisa Matveinen - vocals, kantele
Tellu Turkka - vocals, moraharpa, udu
Katariina Airas - vocals, moraharpa, flutes
Karoliina Kantelinen - vocals, kantele

17.15 | Mikko H. Haapoja: Unheard Landscapes

Mikko H. Haapoja presents his second solo album at Etno-Espa 2026 and performs new electroacoustic music based on the bowed lyre. On the upcoming album, multilayered textures of bowed lyre, human voice, and nyckelharpa blend with soundscapes from different parts of the world and machine accompaniment - sonic images from mountain birch forests, the Amazon's source waters, and Tokyo's subway.

Haapoja's debut solo album Unheard Landscapes reached number 16 on the WMCE world music chart in September 2023. In April 2025, he performed at the Osaka World Expo on his second Japan tour - bringing bowed lyres to world expo stages for the first time.
