Irish stand-up comedian, TV presenter and actor Ed Byrne performs at On the Rocks on 17 June. Byrne is known for his observational style and his ability to blend humour with the absurdity of everyday life and social themes.
Byrne has been a prominent figure in British television for over 30 years. His TV appearances include guest spots and hosting duties on shows such as QI, Mock The Week, The Graham Norton Show, Have I Got News For You and Live at the Apollo. He has also taken part in Comic Relief Bake Off charity episodes and won celebrity versions of The Chase and Pointless TV specials. On the documentary side, he has hosted segments of BBC Two's Volcano Live series and driven across Siberia in World's Most Dangerous Roads. His latest show is called Tragedy Plus Time.
