Teatterikesä OFF brings Shakespeare's Macbeth as a musical tragedy to Tampereen Ylioppilasteatteri in Tampere on Sunday, 9 August at 15:00. Jules Ahokas transforms the classic into a live-band-accompanied descent into madness and power - from dark alto violin melodies to sharp guitar solos. Three witches, violence, and a paranoid ruler create a cold, beautifully composed drama. Tampereen Ylioppilasteatteri is one of Finland's oldest and most established student theatres, offering diverse programming from experimental works to classical plays. Ahokas performs two Finnish dates in August. Admission is 5-30 euros.
