The Magic Flute

Mozart's The Magic Flute takes the stage at Kastelholms slott on Friday, 7 August at 21:00, performed against the medieval walls of the castle. The Åland Opera Festival presents the opera in Swedish with conductor Alberto Hold-Garrido leading the Ålands Festspelsorkester. The performance runs 2.5 hours with one intermission and features soloists from Åland and the Swedish-speaking regions of Finland. Kastelholms slott, one of Finland's best-preserved medieval fortresses, provides a distinctive setting for this summer evening's operatic experience. This is the second of two Finnish dates on Alberto Hold-Garrido's tour.
