Family Guided Tour of the Exhibitions
Jyväskylä Art Museum offers a guided tour for the whole family on Thursday 9.7 at 14:00. The tour is interactive and accommodates different age groups. Admission is charged or can be paid with a museum card - visitors under 24 years old get free entry.
The tour covers two current exhibitions. The Kirsi Neuvonen exhibition is a comprehensive solo show presenting the career, themes, and techniques of printmaker Neuvonen. Neuvonen is particularly known as a pioneer of Finnish colour printmaking, and her work combines sensitivity, bold experimentation, and multi-layered visual thinking - drawing inspiration from antiquity, art history, and girlhood among other sources.
The Tourujoki exhibition is an interactive experience where visitors can experiment, touch, move, and explore. The exhibition focuses on Jyväskylä's Tourujoki stream, whose waters flow through the city, past birds and forest.
