Old School - Demolition Site Art Exhibition

Art Habitat organizes the Old School art exhibition in summer 2026 at the Lyseum secondary school's new building in Jyväskylä. The exhibition is open Wed-Fri 12:00-18:00 and Sat-Sun 12:00-17:00. Admission 12/10 €, children under 6 free.

The exhibition features work by over 30 artists. In addition to indoor spaces, the inner courtyard's outer walls display pieces by local graffiti artists. The Lyseum courtyard also hosts three separate exhibitions.

Henrietta Soininen's photography exhibition Vuoksi combines documentary and fine art photography traditions - the series focuses on foreign parents who remained in Finland after divorce to share custody of their children.

At the Jyväskylä Artists' Association glass container exhibition, works rotate three times during the season: Arja Reiman, Anni Honkala and Ulla Tulonen (2.6-30.6), Pertti Karjalainen, Ville Lehtinen and Kristine Nordling (30.6-26.7), and Minja Revonkorpi, Piippa Mutikainen and Auli Halttunen (4.8-31.8).
