Old School - Demolition Site Art Exhibition

Art Habitat organizes the Old School art exhibition in summer 2026 at the new building of Lyseo High School in Jyväskylä. The exhibition is open Wed-Fri 12-18 and Sat-Sun 12-17. Admission costs 12/10 €, children under 6 are free.

The exhibition features over 30 artists. In addition to indoor spaces, works are displayed on the inner courtyard's outer walls as graffiti by local artists. The school's inner courtyard also hosts three separate exhibitions.

Henrietta Soininen's photography exhibition Vuoksi combines documentary and fine art photography traditions - the series focuses on foreign parents who have remained in Finland after divorce to share custody of their children.

In Jyväskylä Artists' Association's glass kiosk exhibition, works rotate throughout the summer: Arja Reiman, Anni Honkala and Ulla Tulonen 2.6-30.6; Pertti Karjalainen, Ville Lehtinen and Kristine Nordling 30.6-26.7; Minja Revonkorpi, Piippa Mutikainen and Auli Halttunen 4.8-31.8.
