Niitynpää Workers' Home Museum — Museopolku, Jyväskylä
Description was written before the event

The cottage at Niitynpää Workers' Home Museum was likely built in 1892. SOK purchased the building in 1916 and housed its own workers there. Among the longest-term residents was the Rautiainen family, who lived in the cottage from 1929 through the 1950s.

The museum's interior depicts the modest everyday life of a working-class family in an industrial town. Open 25.6.-6.8. Thursdays 13:00-16:00. Free admission.

Organizer: Central Finland Museum, [email protected], 050 563 8823.
