Nestori Gospel Band Concert

The Nestori gospel band performs at Kuoreveden Church at 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Nestori consists of adult men, and the band's musical style moves between rock, blues, and pop - the band itself calls it "coffee-cup rock". The songs tell stories of human life: substance abuse, homelessness, loneliness, and hope.

Behind the band is Kellarikirkko rf, an organization that works with addiction and diaconal services and trains congregations and organizations to meet people facing substance abuse and mental health challenges. The band includes three pastors, two addiction workers, and one retiree.

The event is organized by Jämsä Parish.
