Old School - Demolition Building Art Exhibition

Art Habitat rf's Old School exhibition in a demolition building is open in the Lyseo annex in Jyväskylä from 4.6 to 30.8. The exhibition showcases contemporary art, installations, murals and graffiti from ten local and international artists.

The exhibition is open Wed-Fri 12-18 and Sat-Sun 12-17. Admission: adults 12 €, discount groups 10 €, children under 6 free.

Three separate exhibitions are also located in the Lyseo courtyard. Henrietta Soininen's photography exhibition Vuoksi combines documentary and fine art photography traditions - the series focuses on foreign parents who remained in Finland after divorce to share custody of their children. In the Jyväskylä Artists' Association glass kiosk, works rotate in three rounds: Arja Reiman, Anni Honkala and Ulla Tulonen 2.6-30.6; Pertti Karjalainen, Ville Lehtinen and Kristine Nordling 30.6-26.7; Minja Revonkorpi, Piippa Mutikainen and Auli Halttunen 4.8-31.8. Local graffiti artists' works are also visible on the courtyard walls.

The building is in demolition condition, so indoor air quality is not optimal. The first floor and courtyard are accessible - the exhibition spans three floors in total.
