Metsäsydän - Ode to Local Forests is a poetry performance that explores personal and shared memories of nearby forests through verse, organic sounds, and music. The work is collaborative and group-based.

The performance is part of the Metsän suojassa exhibition and event series, which explores the future of forests through art, science, and participation. The series includes several events at Kanneltalo from August 14-29.
