Puzzle Theatre: Papa - SAMPO Festival — Annantalo, Helsinki

PAPA is moving - and everything is lost. A father gets lost among cardboard boxes and childhood memories, unable to find anything anymore, not even his child. Yet the cardboard boxes turn out to be a wonderful playground, and pieces of paper begin to disappear from the children's drawings on the wall...

The performance is a humorous and tender story about the chaos of moving, told from the father's perspective. After each show, the actor demonstrates to the audience in an interactive moment how to make masks and puppets from cardboard box pieces using simple methods.

Duration: 40 minutes. The performance contains very little dialogue, and understanding it is not necessary to enjoy the show. Age recommendation: 4 years and up.

Tickets are sold by Nukketeatteri Sampo. Ticket price: 15 €, support ticket: 20 €.

Creator and performer: Csaba Raduly. Direction: Pavla Mano. Visual design and costumes: Ivan Stavrev. Masks and puppets: Csaba Raduly and Pavla Mano. Original music: Petya Nedeva.
