Itiksen Comic Book Reading Circle

The comic book reading circle at Itäkeskus Library discusses classic works of comic art once a month on Mondays from 18:30 to 20:00. The circle meets in the library's ground floor in an open space and is open to everyone.

An exception is the September meeting: during the Helsinki Comic Art Festival, the reading circle gathers at Itäkeskus Library on Sunday, 20.9.2026 from 14:00 to 15:30.

The reading circle's book is reserved for participants to pick up at Itäkeskus Library one month before the meeting - the book can also be reserved at your preferred pickup location. The circle is led by Eero Laitila, who runs the Hyllyy comic art blog, and comic enthusiast Paavo Ihalainen.
