En tidsresa

In 2000, Helsinki was the cultural capital of Europe - and that same year, Oblivia was born. That year, the group created four site-specific performances as part of the Rötter, Röster, Rum project. Now Oblivia returns to the places where it all began.

The walking performance En tidsresa traces Oblivia's early years through its original performance venues. The journey starts at the Tram Museum, where the first work Att tänka på flygning was created, and continues to the Winter Garden, where Abborrens dilemma premiered. In the Fågelsång area, there is a break where visitors can buy coffee or tea. The route ends at the former VR warehouse area, where What Where was performed.

The guides are Oblivia's founder and artistic director Annika Tudeer and founding member, musician and performer Timo Fredriksson. During the performance, the group pauses to reflect on the past and the changing city.
