Four clowns take on Stravinsky's iconic masterpiece The Rite of Spring: they dissect the composition and its hundreds of interpretations, dance to music specially composed for their own choreography, and construct a ritual where no young girl is sacrificed. The performance brims with silent comedy.

The Rite of Spring's 1913 premiere was a scandal - Nijinsky, Roerich, and Stravinsky laid bare humanity's violence, sacrifice, and rituals before the audience without restraint, and part of the crowd ran screaming from the hall. Diaghilev's Russian ballet defiantly saw the premiere through to the end.
