Ensemble Nylandia performs at Temppeliaukio Church in Helsinki on Monday, 20 July 2026 at 19:00. The concert is part of a collaboration between EUBO and Alfredo Bernardini titled "Currents of Affects", which takes listeners on a journey through Baroque music across different regions of Europe. About: European Union Baroque Orchestra

Founded in 1985 and carrying the title of EU Cultural Ambassador, EUBO gathers a fresh cohort of young baroque players from across Europe every year - performing on period instruments under leading early music specialists. The 2026 Finland tour, led by Alfredo Bernardini, takes the orchestra to Sastamala, Kuopio and Helsinki.

EUBO performs in Estonia and Finland in July 2026 under the direction of Alfredo Bernardini, with concerts in Tartu, Sastamala, Kuopio and Helsinki.

About: Alfredo Bernardini

Born in Rome, Bernardini built his career at the heart of the European early music scene - as co-founder of Ensemble Zefiro, guest conductor of Concerto Copenhagen, and a professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. His discography of over 100 recordings spans Vivaldi and Handel to Bach and Fux, earning prizes from the Cannes Classical Award to the Diapason d'or.

Bernardini is scheduled to conduct Bach's Mass in B minor at the Chigiana International Festival in Siena, in co-production with the Mozarteum University of Salzburg.

Bernardini performed and taught at the Chigiana-Mozarteum Baroque Program in Siena, directing the Chigiana-Mozarteum Baroque Orchestra in Vivaldi's La Senna festeggiante.
