Home Findings - Kotilöytöjä, 10.30-11.00 and 11.30-12.00

Home Findings - Kotilöytöjä is a dance piece where materials from the performer's own home are transformed into costumes, music, and movement. Figures excavated from Ikea bags take the audience on an imaginative movement journey.

The performance is aimed especially at families with children but suits everyone. It is not participatory and requires no language skills - communication happens through movement and playful sounds. Tsök! Duration approximately 30 minutes, recommended age 3+.

Jazz for Kids: Joakim Berghäll & Adele Sauros, 13.00-14.00

Joakim Berghäll & Adele Sauros is a saxophone duo that has performed at Viapori Jazz, the We Jazz festival, and in Germany and Austria. The concert features music from the duo's debut album Runoja rauhalle and previews from their forthcoming album. The music on Runoja rauhalle is based on poems by writers living in conflict zones around the world.

The event lasts 45 minutes: the duo performs for approximately 35 minutes, after which the audience can meet the musicians and see the instruments.

Adele Sauros - tenor and soprano saxophone. Joakim Berghäll - baritone saxophone and cello.

The concert is part of the Jazz Finland 100 jubilee programme. In 2026, it will be 100 years since jazz symbolically arrived in Finland aboard the ship Andania. The jubilee year highlights Finnish jazz and its creators in Finland and abroad, celebrating jazz as part of Finnish cultural heritage. The Jazz Finland 100 campaign is coordinated by the Finnish Jazz Federation.
