Oskari Turpeinen & Kinetic Orchestra: Block - Maybe We Go Out

Block - Maybe We Go Out depicts the lives of three friends stuck at home. The future holds grand visions, but the comfort of home and fear of change keep them firmly on the sofa. Time flows and stretches, furniture and dreams are rearranged - and there's always something better to do than face the future.

The performance explores themes of growing up and uncertainty about what lies ahead, aimed especially at young people and young adults. The work combines dance, circus, live music, and theatre.

On stage are dancer-choreographer Oskari Turpeinen, dancer Mikko Makkonen, and musician Eetu Hölttä. The creative team also includes sound designer Josu Mämmi, lighting designer Lauri Hietanen, dancer Iiro Näkki, and choreography assistant Sanni Giordani.
